Meet Amanda - November's Mom of the Month!

Name: Amanda Seibert

Where are you from: I am a military brat that moved around a ton but I consider Pennsylvania home.

Favorite Thing/Memory about Fit4Mom: This is the first workout I have ever stuck with for more than 1 week. I actually LIKE working out now!! I also love that my son learns songs from Strides and loves to go play with the other kids. I love seeing him get out my exercise band to do his own workouts at home. :)

Favorite Exercise: I love any type of core workout, especially V sits.

Favorite Mom-me time of the day: My morning tea, devotion and day planning before my son wakes up. (I also love my Saturday morning Body Back time!!)

What motivates you to exercise: Knowing how hard I worked to get to this point, I can't stop now!

How has FIT4MOM changed your life? It actually made me a better mom that doesn't stress as much. I use to stress over what my toddler ate and if he was eating the right foods- ALL THE TIME! Since Body Back I now only eat healthy options and only offer him healthy food. And to my surprise he is following my example, he actually loves some raw vegetables! I also love how being "healthy" spilled into other parts of my life, I now floss daily, have more energy and am okay with saying "no" to things that are draining.

Piece of advice for new moms: Kuddos to you for working out! I wish I would have started exercising right away and not waited 2 years to lose the weight. Some days are exhausting (okay most day are exhausting) but lean on your village for emotional, mental or physical support. Your problem and issues are never "too small" to share with another mom! And ALWAYS make time for self-care: devotions, quiet time, caffeine or working out - whatever makes you happy and gives you energy!
