Chinese Language Day - April 20th

Chinese Language Day was set by the United Nations Department of Public Relations in 2010. April 20th not only celebrates the Chinese Language but also Cangjie, "the ancestor of Chinese characters." Over the past 10 years, Chinese Language Day has become a celebration of Chinese culture and heritage.
