Lisa first experienced Stroller Strides as a new mom with an 8 month old on Long Island in 2008. She moved to Chicago in 2009 and started doing activities with Stroller Strides Chicago. After her 3rd child was born and her older 2 were in school, she became more involved and went through the Body Back program. She wanted to share her renewed love of fitness and the success she had through the Fit4Mom programs with other moms and so became Stroller Strides certified in the spring of 2013. She is excited to be apart of an amazing community of instructors and moms!

Heather grew up in the northwest suburbs, and graduated from Indiana University. After pursuing a Masters in Education, she taught fifth grade in Chicago Public Schools. While she loved teaching, she wanted to have more time with her children, so in 2013 she left the classroom. This decision was one of the best decisions she has made, but she found herself missing teaching and the community that her school provided. She found this sense of community again when she attended her first Stroller Strides class, so when the opportunity to become an instructor presented itself she was thrilled! Working with Fit4Mom allows her to teach and inspire moms while showing children how important and exciting staying fit can be!

Following the birth of her daughter in 2014, Nikki began attending Stroller Strides and was thrilled to find a welcoming community of moms, a fun workout, and a good reason to get out of the house with a newborn all in one. Once a competitive athlete, Nikki didn’t realize the toll that years of full-time corporate life and a pregnancy had taken on her overall well-being until she was sore for days following her first class. Thanks to the support she found in Stroller Strides and eventually in the Body Back program, Nikki has re-prioritized her health, and a passion for fitness and clean (and delicious!) eating has been ignited. Still a full-time working mom, Nikki occasionally teaches Body Back classes as a sub. She’s happy to be able to pass on the gift of well-being that she has been given by Fit4Mom.
